What fire rating do UAE hotels require for carpets?
Most UAE hotels require BS5852 Crib 5 fire rating as a minimum, combined with EN 13501 Bfl-s1 classification. Our ContractLux range meets both standards as standard.
Is IMO certification required for yacht carpets in UAE?
Yes — any carpet installed on a commercial vessel or charter yacht operating in UAE waters must be IMO 2010 FTP Code Part 5 certified. Our MarineSafe range is fully certified.
